Processing will take approximately 7-10 business days. An email will be sent to you from PacLife with your new agent number when the approval process is complete.
If you are contracting an agency, PacLife will issue a contract number for the agency and for yourself as the writing agent. They will provide you instructions as to how to register the accounts on their Producer Portal.
Agents are required to have current AML training prior to any client policy being issued. It must also be noted that ALL levels of an agent’s hierarchy MUST also be compliant, have current AML documentation.

Transfer/Release Policy or Dual Contract
PacLife allows for Dual Contracts. This means that you will be provided two different agent numbers, one for each hierarchy you may have set up. You need to be careful to take client applications using the agent number that you intend to have the new business fall under.

Add Non-Resident State
Most states are Just-in-Time states. PacLife will simply turn on the state appointment when you write a client application in that non-resident state.
LA, MT and PA are pre-appointment states. This means that your state appointment needs to be turned on/approved before you can date any client application in these states.
You can email PacLife Licensing directly to request that a state be added to your contract. Please be sure to attach a copy of your license to the email.
