Licensing The next step is getting licensed. You can visit the Insurance Information Institute to find your state's Department of Insurance website or do a Goole search. Once there, search for the health and life insurance exam to complete the licensing for your state.

Errors & Omissions After getting licensed as an insurance agent, it's important to protect yourself and your clients by having Errors & Omissions coverage. We recommend going through NAILBA to secure your E&O coverage.
