Sam is originally from Pennsylvania and his long lineage of insurance industry leaders paved the way for his career. He joined The Brokerage Resource in 2003 to work side by side with his father, Sam Corey, Jr., heading up Marketing and Sales. In 2018 his dad stepped down and passed the torch onto Sam 3 to take over as President, and to continue to steer the firm in the direction his father had envisioned. In 2020 Sam partnered with Integrity to continue to grow and expand the business. His role today is President and Managing Parter. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, deep sea fishing and golfing.

Robiny was born and raised in New England and graduated from The Principia College in St. Louis, MO with a B.S. in Business. She began her insurance career in 1991 and moved to North Carolina in 1997 when she joined The Brokerage Resource. With over 20 years under her belt, she knows the answer to just about any question an agent throws at her. Mom of two and “bonus mom” of two more, she’s a huge animal lover who spends her free time helping find forever homes for Dachshunds in need. Robiny is licensed to sell all types of insurance products, but her role is that of Vice President of Administration. She spends her day handling licensing, commissions and technical questions for our agents.

Carolyn, originally from New York, has a B.A. in French from Manhattanville University. She's an active mom of two and spends much of her free time at the beach honing her photography skills. In her former life she was a Team Lead with Apple, Inc. where she managed a team of sales agents for the Apple online store. Prior to that she worked in marketing and sales for Lactalis American Group in Manhattan. She joined The Brokerage Resource in 2012. As Director of Marketing, she overseas marketing and communications for the agency, including maintaining the company websites she designed and built. She also works closely with the firm's independent agents and financial advisors assisting them with their own marketing and branding.

Mark is another northerner on our team coming from Connecticut, but has lived in the Triangle area since 1995. He has been in the industry industry since 2009, working with companies such as Combined Insurance, Sterling Health Plans and Allstate in the past. Mark re-joined our team in July of 2017 and oversees our sales and compliance. He also assists our agents with offering Life and Long-term care products, ensuring they have the best products and information to offer their clients. When not in the office Mark enjoys spending time in the mountains with his wife MJ.

Cassandra grew up in New Jersey and was a Golf pro in another life, and continues to maintain her PGA status. She attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and is licensed to sell Medicare Supplement, Long-term Care, Final Expense, DI, Critical Illness and Life insurance. Cassandra joined the team in June 2014 and from the very beginning has had a knack for conversing and bringing out the best in her agents. She spends any amount of time needed to assist them with their sales and takes the time to explain complicated topics and processes ensuring they understand the Medicare Supplement marketplace. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, her dog, Faldo, gardening and traveling.

Derick is originally from Pennsylvania and was a golf professional for 17 years. He graduated from Kutztown University in 2001 with a degree in Business Administration. He draws on his past customer service experience to exceed all expectations of his agents. He is licensed to sell Life and Health products, but focuses his attention on helping his agents understand the complexities of both Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage products. He enjoys many recreational activities and spending time with his wife Ashley and daughter Ella, when not in the office.
